After Camp

We spent the Tuesday after camp going to Whistler
Mountain for a look interesting. what amazing
scenery. we really got a look into what it will be
like for the Winter Olympics next year in January.

then on Wednesday we hired a taxi and went to the
Christian bookshop and 2 malls to do last minit
shopping. cloths, shoes are so cheep there. it was
a nice time to wind down after our trip and reflect
on what we had done.

also on Wednesday at 8:15 pm we where on our way
home again. the plain left a little eariler than
expected we had a good flight only 12.5 hrs which
got us back to New Zealand at 5:15. We are now
home. its strange we actually lost a day while
flying. we left on a Wednesday and landed on a
Friday we lost Thursday somewhere along the way.

Amazing Camp

Hi we have Juatr apent the weekend camp in a
nicew place by the sea. was really nice to meet
all the campers and see how much ws the same and
how much is different than our camps in New
Zealand. Kevin & Jan gave a great message through
the message on the sower and the seed. the over
all them was summed up by "Who's the greatest
sower. JESUS" it was nice spending time with
campers and quality is the best.
With the extra hot weater some people where
sunburnt, otheres became quite dehidrated. so
there was allot of reminding to put on sunblock,
and drink lots. over all it was an excellent
camp. we have made some life long friends at this
camp exchanging emails etc.

Today Monday 3rd August is British Collumbia Day
national holiday here.

Everything is moving so fast. yesterday we went to
a wonderful historic village preserves as it was.
there where some buildings that have been relocated
from around Canada. the highlight was a ride on the
authentic carousel or merry-go-round with the
horses. it had been modified for wheelchairs
amazing. We all loved going for a ride. also there
was a classic Model A Ford car that we could go for
a ride around the village in what a nice trip back
in time.

Today we went around getting stuff ready for camp.
having to drop stuff there this afternoon.

Tomorrow we will be going to camp for the weekend
10 am Friday till 2pm Monday what a long time at
camp. Will try to post something before we leave
but if not will update you after we get home.

Thanks all Joy Ministries team.

Hi we are having a good time doing allot of things.
we have been all over Vancouver taking people to
and from our activities. Saturday was a day of rest
for us. on Sunday we left at 8:30 am and after 2
services and with all the pick up and drop-off plus
lunch we did not get home to after 6pm. what a long
day. the main church service was from 10-12pm and
we where even invited to join in with the worship.
lunch was followed by another service in a group
home (similar to a resthome or nursing home) for
thoes who cannot get out.

on Monday we again tripped around Vancouver. we
went to a lake and saw interesting dragonflies and
people fishing. the scenery is amazing. then we
drove up Cyprus mountain and saw a lovely view of
of the city. lunch was spent in a nice park in a
nice forest between the tall maple and other
trees. after dinner we decided to go on the sky
Train (google it its amazing). basically it has no
drivers and runs on multiple layered track. man its
so fast like a built. we went for a short trip and
court 2 trains to get to the bus ferry. this was
about 10:30pm we went for a short walk on the other
side although the shops where closed it was still
nice to see the city from the other side. it was
like going to devenport and looking back at
Auckland city at night.

Today David and the team had organised a group
picnic at a farm park with some of the group homes
in Richmond. THe people at the park actually put on
a wonderfull lunch. we had a nice time of singing &
dancing, and some fun games.

now after this we went and had a look in one of the
small shoping centers.

set up for church and practice music and things for

so fun. We left promptly at 8:30 and had to pick up
4 people on the way. The service was wonderful and
we could see the love of God in all. After church
we went to a nice chines lunch. this was followed
by another service, held once a month, in one of
the nursing homes for folk who are unable to get
out due to medical reasons. a full on day we got

Sight Explanation

Jam'n 4 Jesus (J4J)
This is a term God gave me one day.

Jam'n or Jamming: to fill often to excess: PACK
<The crowd jammed the theatre>
Jamming (dance), cheered show-offs during social
dancing.

Jam'n in the context of Jamming for Jesus means
that any one who is considered to be doing this
is packed or filled up with Jesus in their life.
Look at these passages from the bible.

Ephesians 5: 18 Do not get drunk on wine, which
leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the
Spirit.

Philippians 1:9 --11 And this is my prayer: that
your love may abound more and more in knowledge
and depth of insight, so that you may be able to
discern what is best and may be pure and
blameless until the day of Christ, filled with
the fruit of righteousness that comes through
Jesus Christ-to the glory and praise of God.

We can see that Jam'n 4 Jesus is to be filled
with Jesus, His Spirit (the Holy Spirit), and His
righteousness.
If we are filled with His Spirit then we should
produce signs in our lives. Like a healthy tree
that produces good fruit.
Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is
love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
